What a surprise :-) This noon, as Kelly was breast feeding Ethan, a knock was heard at the door. It was our dear neighbors, Sarah and her (nearly 3-year-old) son, Gavin. They baked us a loaf of pumpkin and ginger bread! This morning has not been very nice weather-wise, and so Gavin was dressed in his frog-suit (rain coat).
Well, many, many thanks Sarah and Gavin!
This wonderful family has been very kind to us. Last Christmas, Sarah and Gavin were making the rounds around our neighborhood, handing out cookies in little baskets that they had made for everyone. Sarah is a dynamo mom, and she can always be found, rain or shine, taking Gavin out on a jogging stroller, as Sarah is an avid runner. Husband David is a physician at Duke.
