This afternoon was gloriously sunny. Kelly, Mom, Ethan and I decided to go for a walk. This time we decided to do the Al Beuhler Trail around the Washington Duke Inn Golf and Country Club - the place of our wedding - which is approximately 5K around.

Kelly did very well, and we were all rather pooped afterwards (except for Ethan who could have gone for another loop around the trail).

For dinner, we went to Chai's. Mom ordered Spicy Thai and Basil noodles with chicken, and Kelly ordered Singaprore Noodles. I ordered a Japanese Beef Terriyaki Rice Bowl (pictured). All were awesome. Chai's was pretty busy as well, with a continuous flow of Duke students coming in to order their dinner.

We also bumped into a friend of Kelly's - Annie. Annie is an Ophthalmology resident at Duke. Both she and Kelly did medical school at Wash U (St. Louis). And are both now doing residency at Duke. Annie was studying at the local Shade Tree Coffee Shop (beside Chai's on Erwin Road).

Now watching Gilmore Girls...
