Jessica's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESSICA! Yesterday (12/3) was Jessica's birthday, and of course, being the fantastic fellow that she is, Jessica was on-call on her birthday. Argh.. So, instead Krishelle hosted an intimate birthday dinner 'party of five' with BBQ asian cuisine (take away of course). And Clarissa brought over this delectible chocolate cake from Madhatter's.



The group picture of all of us was taken by balancing the camera on a candle, on a candle holder, on the kitchen countertop. Yup! And the height was just perfect. Great idea, Krishelle! Somehow I think you've done that before and knew the height would be just right. :-D



Kelly and I could not stay very long because Ethan was home with mom for the first time, and he was already somewhat giving mom all she could handle before we left, so we knew it would be a rush to give Jessica her gift, enjoy the cake and company and dash back home for Ethan's night time feeding.

Well I hope Duke did not make you work too hard on your birthday call shift last night, Jessica.
