Jen & Eric: The Wedding (Slideshow)
So moving. Click on Jen and Eric's wedding to see a slideshow of their wedding in St. Louis this past May (27th). Jen and I worked together in the Hogan Lab, Duke University, before she left to do her graduate work at SLU. Best wishes to you both always.
In a Nutshell: I was born in Iran, grew up in the Philippines and Canada, educated in Canada [BSc, UBC] and Scotland [PhD, Dundee] and currently residing in the United States, married to my beautiful wife, Kelly Koay. I am a Canadian citizen, my ethnicity is Filipino-Chinese-Persian, and I am a Baha'i [www.bahai.org].
The Hidden Words - selected writings of Baha'u'llah
O Son of Spirit! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behooveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes.
[The Hidden Words, Arabic No.2]
"O God! Make me a hollow reed, from which the pith of self hath been blown. That I may become a clear channel, through which Thy Love may flow to others."
