I hope everything is going alright with Kelly, Ethan and yourself.
These difficult moments make you appreciate the good times you have that much more. I know you'll be back on your feet soon enough. There's so much to look forward to in life. :?)
Thanks for the kind message. I appreciate your comment very much.
Kelly, Ethan and I are doing well considering all that we've gone through in the past few months. It has been especially tough since we don't have any family, or anyone for that matter, around us really. And usually we find our "adopted" parents and family within the community we live, but this has not been the case (so far) in such a rural place as Blue Ridge.
But we may have found a solution to one of our biggest concerns - a nanny and regular playmates for Ethan.
I wish I could just bring you and some of our close friends to live with us. :-D
In a Nutshell: I was born in Iran, grew up in the Philippines and Canada, educated in Canada [BSc, UBC] and Scotland [PhD, Dundee] and currently residing in the United States, married to my beautiful wife, Kelly Koay. I am a Canadian citizen, my ethnicity is Filipino-Chinese-Persian, and I am a Baha'i [www.bahai.org].
The Hidden Words - selected writings of Baha'u'llah
O Son of Spirit! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; turn not away therefrom if thou desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbor. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behooveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes.
[The Hidden Words, Arabic No.2]
"O God! Make me a hollow reed, from which the pith of self hath been blown. That I may become a clear channel, through which Thy Love may flow to others."
